Summer
The borders contain a mixture of perennials with some dahlias and begonias for instant colour. The white flowered shrubs are Lavatera Barnsley which flowers all summer long and is easy to propagate from cuttings taken in summer. The blue flowers are Agapanthus which have a long flowering season and very ornate flowers. The pictures also show our new summerhouse which faces west so gets the best of the evening sunshine.
We managed to transfer some Acers from the old garden which have taken well and give some height and colour to the borders
